The mission of the Symposium is to provide assistance and support for the development of a framework for youth which leads to a life free of violence and filled with promise and prosperity.

The day will include dynamic speakers, enlightening workshops for both adults and youth, and an awards ceremony that will celebrate efforts to establish peace and heal conflicts, in our schools and communities, and throughout the world. It will conclude with the dedication of a peace pole (see www.worldpeace.org for additional information on the peace pole) which will be presented to a participating school at the event.
