Graduate Student Intern Program

The Graduate Student Intern Program reflects the Department's commitment to providing a wide range of education leadership and learning opportunities.  Introducing a diverse group of graduate students to positions in the New York State Education Department enables both the interns and the Department to benefit from a mutual interchange of knowledge and background. We have found that Interns with diverse backgrounds and experiences provide career Department staff with new insights and approaches to issues in government.
