Office of Governmental Relations

The Office of Governmental Relations facilitates interaction between the Board of Regents and the State Education Department with the State Legislature, the Governor's Office, Congress, the White House, federal and state agencies and national and state education associations and advocacy groups to promote Regents policies, help craft legislation and engage in discussion about key issues related to SED's mission. This office advocates for the Regents and SED's federal and state priority legislation and communicates positions on legislation.
