COVID-19 Public Health Emergency

In response to the continuing COVID-19 public health emergency, the Governor’s Office has issued guidance on a reopening strategy for state agencies and authorities based on region. We will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available.

This emergency continues to significantly impact normal business activities and services provided by the New York State Education Department. Please continue to expect delays in services, wait times and responses. All communication should be sent to the Medicaid In Education main mailbox at medined@nysed.gov, or emailed directly to an appropriate staff member. For a listing of staff assignments and relevant contact information, please refer to the unit’s functional directory.
