Our Program

The School Supportive Health Services Program (SSHSP) and the Preschool Supportive Health Services Program (PSHSP) were developed jointly by the New York State Education Department (SED) and the New York State Department of Health (DOH). SSHSP applies to the 5-21 year old population and PSHSP applies to the preschool 3-4 year population pursuant to §4410 of the Education Law.

Our Mission

To assist school districts, counties and §4201 Schools in obtaining Medicaid Reimbursement for certain diagnostic and health support services provided to students with, or suspected of, having disabilities.
