SUBJECT:          Speech Therapy and Special Transportation Claims

                          

 

The two-year limit for Speech and Transportation claims has been lifted for the school districts, counties and 4201 schools that have submitted a signed Certification form.  Claims may be submitted for Speech and Transportation services provided on or after March 1, 2005 through Payment Cycle 1622 to the Central New York Regional Information Center (CNYRIC) by September 2, 2008.   March 1, 2005 was the beginning of the two year claiming window at the time the New York State Education letter dated February 6, 2007 was issued.

 

School districts, counties and 4201 schools should file claims that meet all billing requirements with CNYRIC as quickly as possible to meet the extended claiming period.
