Subject: Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) to Resume 10/1/18

The purpose of this Alert is to inform SSHSP providers of the resumption of the Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) process associated with certified public expenditures (CPEs).  Although the RMTS was suspended on a temporary basis for the July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018 school year, the RMTS will resume October 1, 2018.

Districts should log into the RMTS system at https://claimingsystem.pcgus.com/nysshsp and confirm the RMTS Coordinator contact information is correct or update the new coordinator’s contact information so they receive current notification from PCG that staff pool lists and calendars can be certified.  Public Consulting Group, Inc. (PCG) will be collecting staff pool lists for the cost pools for school districts/counties this school year.  No later than August 17, 2018 PCG will be sending the RMTS Coordinator Manual, Coordinator training, Participant training, and a link to a system demonstration (located on the PCG Claiming System Dashboard under “Resources”) to assist you in submitting your staff pool list and calendar certification.  PCG will be conducting RMTS training via Webex prior to September 17, 2018, details will be posted online at https://claimingsystem.pcgus.com/nysshsp.

Staff pool lists and calendar certifications for Oct.-Dec. 2018 will be due September 17, 2018.  If staff pool lists and calendar certifications are not submitted by September 17, 2018, PCG will use the last certified and approved staff pool list and calendar that is in the claiming system for the upcoming Oct.-Dec. quarter.
