Regents State Aid Proposal

• Many major reforms advocated by the Board of Regents were enacted into law last year:

• Foundation Formula directed more aid to high need students and schools.

• Big 4 Cities were required to maintain local aid even with increased State Aid.

• Accountability increased for districts that get more aid.

• Learning Standards will be reviewed.

• These are just some highlights of the reforms enacted.
