Regents State Aid Proposal: Help English Language Learners

• Additional funding would be directed to proven ways to help English Language Learners improve achievement.

• In addition, the Regents recommend enhancing the weighting for English Language Learners in the Foundation Aid formula.

• This will increase funding for innovative programs aimed at increasing achievement.
