• Build on the proven success of education partnerships to raise student achievement.

• We propose Regional Education Alliances that will incorporate existing Literacy Zones in high need communities.

• Regents/SED and others provide hundreds of millions of dollars each year to partnerships statewide.

• These partnerships involve colleges, school districts, libraries, service and community organizations and employers and labor.
