• These partnerships have proven to be effective in raising achievement and preparing students for college.

• The State also has 8 Literacy Zones in the Big 5 Cities.

• Each has a Family Welcome Center - a hub for coordinated services in high need communities that help adults and children to raise their achievement.

• All are funded in part through SED.
