Signed Fields Explained
Signed Field Translation
For signed fields, the last digit in the field indicates not only the last numeric value but also the “polarity” of the field (IE – is it positive or negative). The “Displays As” columns below are what you will see on our file, and the “Actual Value” column tells you the real value. As well as accepting “signed” fields in this format, you must return them to us in this format as well.
