Graphical User Interface (GUI) Prerequsites for
Mac Users

Currently Sun does not have a Java Plug-in for Macs, but Mac OS X ships with a sufficiently recent version of Java already included, and further updates may be available via Apple's Software Update mechanism (depending on your version of OS X).

We tested the STAC GUI screens on a Mac with OS X and used Netscape 7.2 and IE 5.2, and both had excellent results.
