- A-Prompt Project (http://aprompt.snow.utoronto.ca/) - According to the web site, "A-Prompt (Accessibility Prompt) has been
developed to assist Web authors in improving the accessibility and usability
of HTML documents. By checking Web pages for barriers to accessibility and
making repairs to correct any problems, A-Prompt will ensure that you are
reaching the widest possible audience. A-Prompt is based on the guidelines for
accessibility which are created and maintained by the Web Access Initiative of
the World Wide Web Consortium."
- AnyBrowser.com (http://www.anybrowser.com/) - This site contains tools to create meta tags, check your page in various
screen sizes, validate your HTML, check your links, and see how your site my
be listed by search engine spiders.

- LYNX - LYNX is a text browser, which is useful in checking your page to
see an approximation of what your page will look like to a screen reader. Lynx
is plain vanilla — no scripting, no style sheets, no plug-ins. This link takes
you to a .zip file of the program, which you must download, extract and
install. NOTE: Because it is sometimes difficult to find a Windows-compatible
copy of Lynx, we have provided a copy of the .zip file on this site:
