The purpose of this Alert is to inform SSHSP providers of a change to the SSHSP claiming window. Effective September 5, 2019, the SSHSP claiming window will change from 21 months to 15 months from the date of service. The last eMedNY cycle the 21-month billing window will be in place for is 2194 (9/4/19).
SSHSP providers are authorized to use delay reason code 3 for initial submission of claims that are submitted more than 90 days, but no more than 15 months after the date of service.
The latest service date to be accepted for these cycles as shown in the table below.
