| DATE: | July 25, 2025 |
| SUBJECT: | FY 2024 Annual SSHSP Cost Report and FY 2022 and FY 2023 CPE Form Completion |
The purpose of this Alert is to inform SSHSP providers of tasks that must be completed to support the final close out of the FY 2022 and FY 2023 Certified Public Expenditure (CPE) claim process and the FY 2024 SSHSP annual cost reporting process. The New York State Department of Health (DOH) and Public Consulting Group (PCG) are requesting the following actions be completed by districts/counties by the deadlines articulated to allow for the close out of the prior fiscal years and completion of the first phase of the current fiscal year reports.
- FY 2024 SSHSP Cost Reports: The initial deadline for the completion of the FY 2024 annual SSHSP cost reports was June 9, 2025. Any district that has not yet completed their FY 2024 cost report must complete and certify their cost report by no later than August 8, 2025. Failure to complete the report by this extended deadline will result in the district’s exclusion from the FY 2024 CPE claim and require the district to return all Medicaid interim payments received for FY 2024 dates of service.
- FY 2022 and FY 2023 Cost Settlement Certification and CPE Form Completion: All districts/counties that participated in the annual SSHSP cost reporting process in FY 2022 and/or FY 2023 must login to the PCG Claiming System to certify their annual cost settlement results and complete the CPE form using the electronic signature function in the system. The cost settlement certifications and CPE form signatures must be completed by no later than August 29, 2025. As a reminder, districts/counties must first approve and certify the Cost Settlement before completing the electronic signature of the CPE form for each year. Only users with a “CPE Signer” user type in the system can complete the certification and signature.
