The purpose of this Alert is to remind Medicaid participating local education agencies (LEAs) that filed annual SSHSP cost reports are subject to the desk review process. The desk review period for the 2023-24 (FY24) SSHSP Medicaid Cost Reports will begin on January 19, 2026. PCG will release desk reviews in the PCG Claiming System to participating LEAs throughout the week of January 19 – 23, 2026. Each LEA user will receive an automatic email notification from NYSSHSP@pcgus.com once their review has been released for response. Initial responses will be due by Friday, February 20, 2026, with the deadline for desk review completion being Friday, February 27, 2026.
A recorded training on the desk review process will be posted to the Dashboard of the PCG Claiming System for LEAs at the start of the desk review window.
