Day Treatment Centers
A planned combination of
diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitative services provided to
developmentally disabled individuals in need of a broader range of
services than those provided in
clinic treatment programs. Persons provided day treatment will attend
regularly for periods in excess
of three hours. The Office of Mental Health Day Treatment Programs
may vary widely in the services offered, the level of
disability of participants, the staffing plan, the program goals
and the types and numbers of
cooperative agency relationships.
