Instructions for Downloading the Agency File
The STAC Agency file contains information on approximately 1800 agencies and 6600 programs per school year. The data is kept on two files - one which contains the provider data, which is constant across school years, and a second file which contains program data. Program data is specific to a school year. The program data file has information relevant to the 2005-06 through the current school years. Both ASCII comma versions (.ASC) and fixed length text versions (.TXT) of the data files are available. Two other files which are also available contain the file descriptions of the data files. The program files can be downloaded individually. It will take a little more time, but you will get the same results. These files are refreshed twice a month.
Download Selected Agency Information
NOTE: Some browsers display the following files on the screen, rather than presenting a 'file download' dialog box. If this is the case, select File from the menu bar, then Save As to save the file on your system.
Right-click on link of the school year in parentheses.
- In Google Chrome: Select the "Save link as..." option.
- In Internet Explorer: Select the "Save target as..." option.
- In Mozilla Firefox: Select the "Save Link As..." option.
Navigate to where you want to save the file.
