Optimum Configuration for Viewing STAC GUI Screens
Following are the software, hardware and PC settings that will optimize your viewing of the STAC GUI screens. None of these are required, but they will make the screen render in the most efficient way. For example, without these settings, you may have to scroll down on some of the screens.

Desktop Setup for Windows XP:
You will need to select the Display icon in your Control Panel to check and modify your Desktop Settings. To get to do this:
Click Start, mouse-over Settings, then click Control Panel, then double-click Display | ||

From the theme drop down, Select Windows Classic | ||
2) | Select Desktop Tab. | |
From the Background drop down, select NONE | ||
From the Color drop down, Select Other. Then select the shade of blue in Row 5, column 5 (hue=160, sat=240, lum=60, red=0, green=0, blue=128) | ||
3) | Select Appearance Tab. | |
From Windows and Buttons drop down, select Windows Classic Style | ||
From the Color Scheme drop down, select Windows Standard | ||
From the Font Size drop down, select Normal | ||
4) | Select Settings Tab | |
In the Screen Resolution box, choose 1024 x 768 pixels | ||
From the Color Quality drop down, select Highest 32 Bit | ||
Select Advanced Button, Select General Tab | ||
From the DPI Setting drop down, select Normal Size (96 DPI) |
