Payment Reports for School Age Students on STAC

  • Approved Payment Report (APR)
    • July & August Section 4408 & 4201 Placements
      • For 4408 aid is based on current summer education, maintenance and transportation costs.
      • For 4201 aid is based on current summer transportation costs only.
      • Payments:
      • Prior to April 1, up to 56% aid payable
      • After April 1, 80% aid payable (less any prior payments)
    • July and August Chapters 47, 66 and 721 (OPWDD)
      • Based on current summer enrollment and transportation cost.
      • Payments:
      • 100% aid payable after March 31 based on verified education and transportation costs.
    • School Year Chapters 47, 66 and 721 (OPWDD)
      • Payments:
      • 70% cash advances issued in February or March
      • 100% aid payable after school year ends less any prior payments.
    • Non Resident Homeless Placements (10-month program only)
      • Payments:
      • 100% aid payable after school year ends less any prior payments.
  • Public Excess Cost Aid Output Report (PUB)
    • For students with disabilities placed by CSE in public programs.
    • High cost students are listed individually.
    • Excess Cost Aid regular payments based on the total of Public Excess Cost Aid Set-Aside, High Cost Aid, Supplemental Public Excess Cost Aid and Private Excess Cost Aid are made in December (up to 25%), March (up to 70%), June (up to 85%), and August (up to 100%).
  • Private Excess Cost Aid Output Report (PRI)
    • State Aid output report for resident students with disabilities placed in both in-state and out-of-state schools and New York schools at Rome and Batavia.
    • Students are listed individually by placement.
    • Excess Cost Aid regular payments based on the total of Public Excess Cost Aid Set-Aside, High Cost Aid, Supplemental Public Excess Cost Aid and Private Excess Cost Aid are made in December (up to 25%), March (up to 70%), June (up to 85%), and August (up to 100%).
  • Incarcerated Youth (IY) Output Report
    • State Aid output report for IY program which covers youth aged 16-21 who receive educational services while incarcerated in a county jail.
    • Three payments are issued during the year to the school district in which county jail is located.
    • 41.6% aid covering July 1 through November 30.
    • 75% aid covering July 1 through March 31 (less prior payment)
    • 100% aid covering July 1 through June 30 (less prior payments)
